Smoked Salmon Pasta + Sauvignon Blanc

Smoked Salmon Pasta with Crème Fraiche and White Wine Sauce

Ingredients

Serves 4

2 x 200g Regal Wood Roasted Smoked Salmon

1 x onion

1 x teaspoon of garlic

1 x lemon

1/5 cup olive oil

1 x packet of pasta of your choice

1 x glass of white wine

300 ml of creme fraiche

Half a handful of parsley

Parmesan for topping

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Recipe:

  1. Cook the onion and garlic for a few minutes in olive oil.

  2. Add the glass of wine and simmer on a low heat for five minutes.

  3. Add in the creme fraiche and stir slowly.

  4. Add in half the parsley.

  5. Break the salmon into chunks and add to the sauce.

  6. Meanwhile cook your pasta to the directions of the packet (make sure you have salted the water).

  7. Once cooked drain the pasta and add 1/4 of the pasta water to the sauce.

  8. Mix your pasta through the sauce.

  9. Serve into bowls and top with parmesan and parsley.
